ClearProfit Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ClearProfit helps Shopify merchants track profitability and advertising costs. This policy explains the data we collect, how we use it, and how we handle privacy requests.

2. Information We Process

• Shop and account information supplied by Shopify during app installation.
• Order data needed for profit calculations, including totals, taxes, discounts, refunds, and line items.
• Advertising-spend amounts and optional campaign names entered manually or imported by a merchant.
• Customer personal information only where Shopify supplies it and only as needed for compliance requests.

3. How We Use Information

We use this information to provide profit reporting, operate and secure the app, respond to support requests, manage subscriptions, and meet Shopify privacy obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Retention and Deletion

We retain transactional histories for up to 365 days, depending on the merchant’s plan. When Shopify sends a customer-redaction or shop-redaction request, we delete the applicable personal data and app data in accordance with Shopify’s requirements.
